The amount you should spend on wedding florals will vary greatly. However, generally, most couples spend between 10-15% of their wedding budget on wedding flowers. Most customers have a set budget, and we are more than happy to work with you to maximise the value you get from your florals, based on your budget.
How far ahead do I need to book my wedding flowers?
Generally, it's a good idea to book your wedding floral services at least 6 monts to a year out from your wedding date. Our books fill up quickly so to secure the service, a 30% deposit must be paid before we lock in the service.
How long does it take to get a quote?
The more detail you supply on our quote form, the quicker we can provide you with an accurate estimate of what your flowers will cost. Usually, if we have all the information, we can provide a quote to you within 24-48 hours.
Should I book a consult?
If you are unsure of what you'd like and want a bit of design guidance, it's probably best to book a consult with our Creative Director so she can run through things with you.
Why does it cost so much for delivery?
Most people underestimate the cost of delivery of wedding flowers. These costs are relate to high labour costs involved with rostering on staff to work late at night or after hours, due to having to pack-down floral elements from the venue. Generally speaking, if it's a medium sized to large sized wedding setup, Herbivore needs to pay for 2 staff members to work at penalty rates. Clients can elect for friends and family to do the pack down and deliver any hire items (vases etc) back to Herbivore to avoid some of this cost.
